The depth of loneliness

Is hard to describe

It is a ship that sank and is no more

It lies in the world of the sea

Forgotten

For it is gone years now

The glory, the honor

The joy of before

Destroyed now for the sea can be

Ravenous

Beating away day after day

The ship shrinks smaller and smaller

It’s strength and beauty crumbling

The depth of loneliness is

Hard to describe

But I have tried
